Hey, welcome to YWO. I write fantasy, too. How long have you been writing in general? And do you have any favorite book?

Also, little tip: remember to capitalize your "i"s, please.

Well the book I am writing is my first serious writing project. And sorry about the "i". I usually only type on Microsoft Word and it will automatically capitalize "i" for you. Some books I like are Eragon, the Percy Jackson series, Harry Potter, The Demon King, The Shannara series, and so on. Pretty much only fantasy.

Typos happen, Majyk. :P

Kanen, welcome to the YWO (from a fellow newb, no less)! I'm a bit of a fantasy guy myself, although not so much with the Shannara or Eragon, but I thought I'd jump on in here.

Yes, well, welcome! Happy reading and writing to you.

I posted the first chapter of my book in the Novel(Fantastic) section if any of you all want to check it out. I'm really looking for some feedback.

Typos happen, Majyk. :P

Of course they do (my post was proof of that), but a lot of the time when newbies don't capitalize it isn't typos. It's best to inform them to use proper capitalization and grammar sooner than later.

S'long as you're not one of those people who use chatspeak. xD

I'm reading The Demon King right now, actually. Have you read the Warrior Heir by the same author? It's really good.

I've read the Warrior Heir and the Wizard Heir but not the Dragon Heir. I plan to read it after i finish the Demon King, which I am also reading right now.

Ello Mate! :)

The Percy Jackson series, eh? You excited about the movie?
I want to see it.

Hopefully, I can be of some assistance to you. :P
and Welcome. :)

Yeah. I think those books were some of the greatest I've ever read. And I'm excited about the movie. The author, Rick Riordan, lives in near me, which is really cool.
