Umm, hi. my name's nathan, and i'm an overimaginative fifteen year old, hoping to write a truly decent novel one day.

So... you write sci-fi with interstellar heists and homicides with a touch of sex crimes and forensics? Tell me I'm close. :P
Anyway, welcome to YWO!

Hi there! Welcome to YWO!
Also, I know it's your newb thread and all, but please capitalize. Please? "I", in particular, and also, your name. We're a writing site and we believe in using the correct grammar and syntax all the time. People here really will rip you a new asshole if you don't.
After all, practice does make perfect!
Anyways! I think that's all I have to say... *mumbling*...welcome...capitalisation...
Right! And that's the lot... I think... *thinking...very...hard...ouch...*
Much grinnage!

My name's Nathan, and I'm an over-imaginative fifteen year old, hoping to write a truly decent novel one day, too!!!!
What are the odds? O_o
Lol.
Besides the metal and star trek,
we have some things in common. ;)
I think I just found myself a new friend. :)
Dont worry about Smiley, she means well,
but shes recently been let of the institute on temporary release.
We're all trying our best to help her feel welcome, but...
You'll soon find out. ::sigh::
But anywho,
Welcome Mate!!! :D

Haha, now that Smiley has made you truly welcome, I guess there's not much for the rest of us to say. :P
I wish I could say she's joking but she... well... she isn't; but if you DO use proper grammar, punctuation and all that jazz, everybody's lovely. Seriously *Tries hysterically to give a welcoming smile but instead looks insane*
So um... Yeah. Read critique guidelines and rules and:
:welcome:

Okay, quite a few questions in there. Let's see....
1. No actually, you're way off. I write fantasy predominately, with an occasional separate bit of sci-fi if I get bored.
2. Sorry about the grammar, I'm used to writing on MSN and stuff, but I will try and improve that.
3. Not that it's important, but at the moment the sky over here is mainly blue, with some clouds.
So, thanks for making me feel welcome and for taking the time to reply.
