In order to facilitate fair judging for all the events, we would like to have a group of three (or more) dedicated judges. Preferably these would be people who don't feel up to participating in the events (either because of time constraints or other reasons), but would like to be judges for the various events (which would still require time, but not as much).

If anyone is interested in being a dedicated judge, please let me know here. Your job would be fairly simple: for every event that you are judging you have to select a gold, silver, and bronze medalist/s. That's it. Fairly simple.

I definetly wouldn't mind being a judge as at the moment with exams and applying for college it doesn't look as though I will be able to participate, but I would like to be involved somehow. I have never judged before but I feel up for giving it a go.

I feel as if I have a little much on my plate to participate as a writer, so I wouldn't mind being a judge.

I wouldn't mind judging either. I can’t say for sure how busy I’ll be once everything starts back up, but I definitely want to be involved in this.

You know I'd like to judge already. I can probably find bits and pieces of time to write depending on the dates (end of February until Mid-Late March is incredibly hectic for me), but I am generally opposed to my writing being forced as it saps the quality tremendously. Whatever the situation, I'm open to judging, and I figure someone on the judges, whoever you may choose, should be at least familiar with poetry (not saying that I'm necessarilly qualified, I know less than I should o.0)

I am not sure if I have enough seniority here, but I would enjoy judging. I'm not going to be up to much writing for this, since I will be outpaced in all regards. Judging, however, I can do.

Well, participation would likely only require you to take part in certain events, and we're littering them across the following three months (they won't all happen at the exact same time). Since these are the Writing Olympics, and not the actual Olympics, it seems fair to give at least reasonable time for and between events.

So, if you were to get in a group, it's not like you'd have to do every single event. You'd just have to do some of them.

I'd like to be a judge if you need one since I will most likely not do the events. I think you will say I'm too new but I'll never know till I give it a shot :)

I'd love to be a judge, if you want me. I understand that I may be too new a member, but I thought I'd give it ago...
My reason for wanting to judge (since everyone else was giving one): I prefer reading to writing, and am unlikely to take part in the events.

I maybe new too to this site as \clarissa mentioned before but what the heck, everthing has a beginning...I would really like to join, see how it usually works in the Olympics. :)

Jeez. What a slave-driver, Shaun. :P

Signing up to be a judge (possibly? probably). Bring on the bribes!

I'm also willing to be a judge -- if you still need them, that is. There seems to be an abundance, :)

Everyone who has thus far signed up on this list is pegged to be a judge. We still could do with more judges, though. If you don't think you can take part in the main events, but would be able to devote a little time to judging, please sign up here!

I am definately interested in judging, I don't have that much of time to take part in the events but I'd like to be a judge. I may be too new, but I thought I'd give it a try.
