aStore Earnings This Year

I'm going to make the assumption that most of you have your holiday shopping done (Christmas, etc.), so I'm going to give everyone the stats on how much we've earned from our Amazon Store.

From the U.S. site we earned a total of $7.13.
From the U.K. site we earned a total of 4.70 GDP (about $9.40)
From the Canada site we earned a total of 0

That leaves us with a total of about $16.53. Now, the U.S. money we can get every quarter if it reaches $10, because I can use a bank account to have the money transferred to my account. However, the U.K. and Canada sites won't disperse funds to us through U.S. bank accounts, so we actually have to earn about $100 worth in Canadian or U.K. funds to have that money dispersed to us. Regardless, we're earning a little bit.

So, advertise our aStore. You don't have to be a member to use it by the way. Have your family or friends who use Amazon buy from it, advertise it on blogs, whatever you can. I'm hoping we can pay for the full hosting cost next year! Then we can have a big, monetary prize contest!

Thanks for a good start to the store though guys. It's a tiny sum, but we're over 1/10th of the way to paying for hosting!

Well, since we opened the store on November 12, it's more like 1 month of earnings, not a year. So 1/10 a year's cost in 1/12 of a year. That means the store's been paying enough for hosting ever since we opened it. :)

I WILL buy some stuff from it by the end of the year. But exam week isn't exactly a good time to jump into the world of online shopping. Winter break, though...wait for it!

Yeah, well we still need to earn more :P. We can't get to any of that money until we earn enough to have the stuff dispersed :P. We're getting closer, but we need to have people use the store more. If anyone has Amazon friendly family, let the know what the store is for :).

Well when I have a job, you guys are going to make a fortune off me. :p I'd've used it a bunch already, but with Christmas coming up I've had to not buy books or DVDs, and buy presents of the non-Amazon kind instead. :(
