Hey, I'm Andi!

Heya! I'm Andi (I'm female, just to let you know because I guess Andi could be neutral) which is short for Adrianna. I don't care which one you call me, but Andi is easier :P
I love writing; I have since I was seven years old. Of course, I only wrote very short "stories" then, but I still had a passion for it that grew into the huge love for literature that I have today. My friends (who are usually the only ones allowed to read my writing, so I'm sorta nervous as to what you guys will say) say I'm absolutely fantastic with poetry, but they also enjoy my novels and short stories very much. I usually only write poetry when I'm feeling really emotional--it helps make me feel better. I've recently gotten a laptop so I'm excited that I'm able to write virtually wherever I go!
Other than the literature thing, here's a little about myself: I'm very random and kinda silly, but if I were someone else I'd say that Andi is very fun to be around and can make anyone smile with just a few words. I (first person in Andi's view now, please, and thanks :D) am not extremely sociable and prefer time with one or two friends rather than large groups. I also enjoy time by myself, which is usually used for--you guessed it--writing. I do kickboxing as an after-school activity two days a week, but don't let that fool you. I'm a softy for anyone with a heart, and any animal whether it's vicious or the cutest little thing to ever be on earth... And I'm not violent or anything. :pirate: (aww, I've never seen the pirate smiley before!)
I have pets, a boxer (the dog, not the fighter) and two obnoxious but adorable guinea pigs. Not that that's important information or anything....
So to end all this (I could go on forever) I'm really excited but sort of nervous about people reading what I've written. I've been stuck in a writer's block lately so it may take some time for me to post some [good] literature, but I'm really hoping you'll like it. Don't be afraid to tell me what's wrong, because I know I need to fix a few things. So give me your opinion. And thanks!
PS: I can't wait to start reading other people's literature. I mean, how exciting is this?! :D
PPS: Sorry pirate...but I'm on the ninja side of the ninja vs pirate battle. :ninja: ((this just shows how weird I am))

Thanks. I do want strong tips...those are definitely necessary if I want to become a true author someday. Hmm...I usually write horror (love thrills!) and science fiction (I'm obsessed with science). I read a lot of Stephen King, as it says in my profile.
And just a warning to everybody and anybody...I know nothing about photography. So I can't really help critique that. Lol.

Umm... I just want to say that I'm sort of freaked out because I saw that on other posts everyone says things like "watch your grammar" and stuff... I'm a grammar freak too but I make a lot of mistakes when typing. IMing messes me up, lol.

If you don't use chatspeak, try to use proper grammar, punctuation and all that jazz, nobody will eat you. :)
