Away in a manger...I heard this young girl and boy duet singing it, and they were sooooo adorable...

Any song that says "Lindsey is coming to America to spend the holidays with her boyfriend" would suffice :P.
On the serious side...hrmmm. I don't really care for any of them for the lyrics, so I have to think back to when I played them on trumpet every year for two years of high school. "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is good, "Hark the Harold Angels" is good too, and maybe "Noel".

I can't stand Jingle Bells anymore because it gets played a million times a day...oh and almost anything with "Santa" in it irritates me now too. I used to love them, but after spending the holidays working in a retail store and having to hear a robotic singing/dancing Santa sing all the Santa songs over and over and over...well you get the picture...

Choir has taught me so many songs over the years...
But Handel Hallelujah Chorus is the greatest, except the Alto part sucks.

I really like Oh Holy Night, O come All ye Faithful, Ave Maria (pretty much any version, I love them all)
Oh and Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer :D

I love God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. My sister and I do a really cool version on the guitar. I have to re-learn it every year. (:

And yeah, I detest 90% of Christmas songs after hearing them repeatedly every weekend for three months solid.

Oh, wow, that was subtle. :P

Let's see...Mary's Boy Child by Boney M is really catchy, I also have this remixed version of Little Drummer Boy which is nice. My favorite is Hark The Herald Angels sing. And Christmas Shoes by Alabama ranks as the best depressing one. It's really in tune with the season, but very sad. My brother runs out of the room whenever I play it, which is fun to watch, and also useful sometimes. :D

He doesn't know the meaning of subtle.

I actually quite like 'Christmas Wrapping'. It's this really depressing-Christmas-alone song in a weird style from the 80s. It's so bizarre, but there's something cool about it. :p

When talking about my girlfriend there is no such thing as subtlety :P. I can't stand Drummer Boy :S...only because the little stop-animation movie from way back when creeps me out and I can't stand the Drummer Boy in those movies...

I remember that movie. It always freaked me out, too. A lot more than the other stop-animation ones. I don't like all the versions of that song that are out there, just the one I've got and a few others.

I love Rudolf and most of the others a lot, but that one just scares me for some reason. I'm always waiting for the Drummer Boy to start committing genocide or some craziness on Arab people...he just looks nuts.

:P I love them too! I used to play them on my piano but the D key always gets stuck.

Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Santa Claus is dead,
GI Joe, GI Joe,
Shot him in the head!
Barbie Doll, Barbie Doll,
Tried to save his life,
But GI Joe, oh, GI Joe,
Stabbed her with a knife! HEY! :D

Guess who taught me that? (My English teacher!)

Eve

Haha, your ENGLISH TEACHER? You got to be kidding me!

Rafael Domination

Nope...that was his little mishcevious episode during class...:D

Sigh, the screwed-up songs I remember from Grade 4. Only a few are stuck with me, but I remember another one...a really childish one my nine-year-old self used to sing to piss off my Math and Arabic teachers...

Joy to the world,
the teacher's dead,
We barbequed her head.
What happened to the body?
We flushed it down the potty,
And round and round it goes
And round and round it goes,
And rouu-uund and round, and round it goes...

Seriously, I sang that back in Dubai. Almost got expelled for it too...:D
