Outside of writing from school, I do a significant amount. Like for example last night I did over four hours, starting and finishing a short story. But like today I did less than a half an hour I'd say. Also some days I try to write, but can't and spend two hours pretending to write... so it really depends with me.

If writing includes this site, the scribbles I do in my notebook while I'm surfing thid site, and stuff I do in school, and on Microsoft Word when the internet isn't working, then...I write quite often...
If we're not including school stuff, then I don't write a whole lot:blush:
But on a brighter note, if we're including homework then I write for many hours:D
Do I include writing for school as well?
Let's put it this way: if it's something you could post in the Literature section, then yes. So, no math homework or written quizzes. :D

I'm going to take this question at face value. I write 1 to 2 hours when I'm actually writing. When I'm in a slump, I'm reading or playing a game or doing something else for those hours. Right now I'm in a slump. Soon enough I'll be out of it. I've got about 5 projects I need to either start or finish :S.

I write 2 to 3 hours a day most of the time... and it's usually at night when I'm talking to friends. 1 hour of thinking another hour of typing another hour of attempting to edit.

I write alot...and supporting my vampire status I do most of my writing at night...my words flow better for some reason...anyway since its at night most of the time I lose track of how long I've been writing and I end up writing for 4 hours plus and go to bed at like 5 in the morning when I have to get up at seven....

It depends, during the school year I write less but during the summer I write more because I have a lot more free time.

I write a lot less now that I use my mother's computer. Before we had one just for the kids in our family and I had my own user to store things privately and go on the comp excessively to write. Now I only write for school. And this writing support group I go to. (Young Writers Group)

I put 30-60 minutes; it really varies. Some days I'll write for five/ten minutes and somedays for five hours. Does editing count?
But I make sure to do at least one poem a day.

This.
I cannot give a definite answer really. However, all I can say is that I try to make a poem per day and/or start a short story.

An hour or two per day, I'd say; and maybe more on weekends. However, if I'm in a bad mood, I could hardly jot a single word down, so I'd say it varies .

I don't write as often as I used to back in the day, but I usually try and squeeze in ten hours a week. It could be random ideas to see where they go, or something serious.

I post twelve articles a month to my blog, about a dozen others on other sites, and spend any waking moment I can on one of my ever elusive stories.
