I think the option to have a wish list on our profiles would be really cool. I was thinking something like a box with Wish List in fancy letters on top:D
However the wishlist would have to have only items that people on YWO can give you, for examples books(virtual) from the bookstore, crits, new guides, answers to threads. It may be whatever as long as it is not something irrelevant like: laptop, money, etc.
I don't know if this is a good idea or if it's even possible to have something like that on our profiles. So please tell me what you think:)

Neat idea. Do you mean, like, for Christmas? So we could give each other gifts we want? I'm not sure about the idea of a year-round wishlist, but having one just for December is a neat idea.

Well, we could buy books for each other. Like, we put our virtual book wishlists in it and we can buy them for each other and donate them on Christmas. Or, even more fun, we could have a Secret Santa! :D

A wish list we can easily add, probably 12 days before Christmas, so it starts with the other Christmas stuff.
But a Secret Santa...I can't think of how we would send anonymous messages to each other.
OK yea a secret santa...I don't know how to do that...but maybe Jordan had something in mind when he suggested it?
Oh! I figured out how we could have a secret santa. Everyone who wanted to participate would post in a thread that we could make for it. Then one of the admins, or somone who wants to do this, would PM everyone with another participating user's name. The admins, or whoever is doing this, could draw a random name for themeselves. And voila! We have a Secret Santa on our forum, what do you guys think?
That would work, but it's how people would communicate with the secret Santas which is the problem.
Actually, maybe we could make a new account which can't do anything but PM people. And each member would send the messages through that account.
And to make sure people don't try to deceive anyone by sending messages to the wrong person, each person would be given a password to include in their PMs through the secret santa account. How's that sound?

Nobody communicates with their santas. To stay secret, the santas all use one "Secret Santa" account to send their messages.

Hold on, which version of Secret Santa do you have in mind? The one-day-one-gift one?
Because I was thinking of the one where people are given anonymous messages over several days, and try to guess who their Secret Santa based on the messages. And then on the last day they get a present if they guessed right.

Well that works but it seems too much of a contest and I was thinking it'd be nice if everyone got something if they participated, so how about we alter it a bit? How about the day they guess it right, they get the gift. And if they don't guess it for a long time, say it's already christmas and they haven't guessed right yet, then they will just get the present and the santa will be revealed to them on the last day that we set for this. Wait...did that make sense?
