The Great Escape.
Yeah, it's not a holiday film, but they play it nearly every Christmas (there was uproar last year when they didn't) and it's just so uplifting and cool. :D

Yeah apparently that's like a really good Christmas movie but I'm just not like feeling any push to watch it so...

Oh, what was that one that had the Australian who became Santa Claus and had all the weird animals and Santa swapped places with him. It was Barry Claus, right?

No, it was the one with Will Ferrell, where a baby crawled into Santa's bag and was raised at the north pole, then realized he was not an elf when he was in his twenties. And he went back to New York, found his real father, drove him nuts because he was so naieve, and then saved Christmas when Santa got stuck in Central Park.

No! I'm not talking about Elf, I'm talking about this other movie. I think it was Barry Claus.

Then who were you talking to? Yourself? :P

You know I'm broadcasting my thoughts. :glare:
Well, if you ask "Oh, what was that one...?" then I'm going to assume you're referring to something someone else said. :D

Oh, shut up. :P I'm listening to moshy music, so don't annoy me too much 'cos this music gets my adrenaline up and makes me either giddy or angry.

There's also that new movie Fred Claus, which wasn't all that bad in my opinion. I actually enjoyed it except for the crappy CG. The problem is that I watched it in Watsonville, which is like Mexico, practically, and so I had the pleasure of dealing with people who can't raise their children right: these kids were running around, babbling in Spanish, whispering, throwing things, etc. and not a single one of the parents disciplined them. I'm about fed up with this mamby pamby pansy way of raising kids. Discipline your bloody children. It's not illegal to tell them no, and it's not illegal to give them a spanking once in a while. So do it...it's not cruel. What's cruel is raising little deviant children who don't know how to follow the rules and then throwing them out into the world with those of us who have manners...

Well I agree with telling them no and punishing the children but not spanking, I made a vow to never hit my children and I don't believe in it...
On another note Fred Claus does not draw my attention, neither does This Christmas... but Sweeney Todd... Now there's a movie that I want to watch :)

Same here I will never ever hit my children.
Fred Claus looks a bit dull but I might go and see it anyways just for a good old Christmas movie.
Sweeney Tood looks great, I'm going to wait 'till it comes out on DVD and watch it at a friend's house though cause my parents would never let me go see that in the theaters.

I'll hit my children if they deserve it. I will however, give them a countdown of 3, 2, 1 before I do it, so they have plenty of chance to get out of it. :p
I strongly believe a smack is an acceptable, and sometimes useful, punishment for young children.
OMG! The Snowman! How could I forget?! Channel 4, 2.00pm, every Christmas Day for the last 22 years. :oldcool:

How did a discussion on child beating commence? I was always too subservient to disobey after the terrorous "count of three:" one, twoooo.... and then I'm running off to do whatever I'm supposed to before that "three" comes, whatever that entails.
Anywho... The Muppets' Christmas Carol! ^^
I also love the classic Charlie Brown movie, Mr. Magoo's C.C., and the Nightmare b4 Christmas (which doubles as one of my favorite halloween movies, of course.)
