Ok, so I don't know if this is in the right section or not, but I remember seeing something on the Astore before and can't find it now.

So if we click into the astore and buy anything through it, it will give y'all money. Like if we had a gift card thing we could use that or not???? Just wondering cause I've seen things like that all the time and can never figure them out.

Kinda...if you buy something there, you get what you bought, Amazon gets most of the profit, but the site gets some cash for allowing it to be used as a host...

Yeah, what Rafael said. I'm not sure exactly how Amazon factors gift cards into it. Better ask Shaun - the store account is under his name, so he has access to all the details, I'm sure.

I have no idea how that works :S. Let me look. I know how regular sales work, but I didn't look at gift cards.

Okay, figured it out. I think.

This is how it is SUPPOSED to work.

Go into the aStore (whichever country is yours), and on the left hand side you'll see an "powered by Amazon" icon. Click that. This will take you to Amazon's regular site and it will tag you so that it knows where you came from. Then go to the gift cards section on that top bar area there, buy it, and it SHOULD recognize that you bought it after coming from our store. SHOULD is the keyword here. Send me a PM if and when you do okay?

Also, don't go there through the link, and then come back tomorrow but don't go through the "powered by Amazon" icon. If you do that it won't recognize our tag anymore. You have to click that icon each time you want to buy directly from Amazon but still give us the credit.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Kinda, so does getting used books still give you some credit :P, sorry for all the question :D .

We should still get a credit from used book sales. Amazon says we get a fee for any sale made, which I assume means anything and everything that is on Amazon.

If you didn't understand what I wrote before, please feel free to ask questions. I want to make this whole thing as unconfusing as possible. It's okay to ask questions. That's what Andy and I are here for! Don't feel sorry about it. The more questions you ask, the more you'll know. Besides, I'm learning some things too.

I think we should add a FAQ on the Store's page with questions like this, because other people will probably ask it in the future, too.

Yeah, we'll do that when I finish this last essay...
