However, I'm not the one to do it.
Welcome to YWO... Let us know more about you, what you write/read, etc...

To give you forewarning, miss smiley will come in here and maul you for using bad grammar and most everyone here doesn't like Twilight. And I don't like how you have no idea why you're posting in here. It's wierd. But that's not to say that you're not welcome here :)

Okay. Use the grammer you used earlier today! I have seen your grammar. It is good!
And people. Please don't kill her because she likes Twilight... I've seen her writing. She's one of the Twilight lovers that isn't annoying!
And welcome, my friend, to the hallowed halls of YWO! (Rawr! I stole your line, Smiley! :P)
I am feeling random...
And tell them more. Like what you read and write. They want to know if your the kind of newb they like to eat er... I mean welcome!!

I don't get why people always have to self-identify as Twilight Lovers, not Bob or Janie or Frankie or Mary Sue? I mean, really.
Anyway...
HI!!

Hello, there!
*nods sagely* Normally, I would rip it up you for your bad grammar (and, yes, your taste. Sorry. No sparkly vampires on the menu for me. I'm allergic), but you're lucky that Birdy is someone I respect for her taste in people. Please, I beg of you, use the grammar that you possess. I don't have a problem with you expressing your opinion about Twilight - that's your choice, but you will probably get pwned by the Twi-haters.
And as a side note, it's probably not a good idea to use "abosolutely" - where I come from, that'll get you shot...
>.>
<.<
And, dammit! Birdy! Thou stealing poppinjay!! Thou hast stolen mine precious, sacred phrase! *tutts loudly in Shakespearean*
In short, welcome!
Much grinnage!

Nice, Smiles... Yeah, trust me, Twilight Lover is one of the good Twilight loving newbs like I said. And I appreciate you not eating her. Yay!
To Twilight Lover- I am calling you Twi now. Or MyCars. But if you were MyCars... Then I would have to be SnappingFire, so I will call you Twi. Yes, I have a bit of a reputation with some people here for being the random person who confuses people with my random inteod. *Remembers OverAndOut*...

Twilight is okay, although it could use a bit more vampire fighting and a bit less brooding.
The sequel looks to be more up my alley.

O.o Truth be told (and I'm sorry, Twise, sweets - oh! By the way, that's your new nickname. Treasure it :P Like "wise" with a T), the main thing I can't stand about Twilight are the clichees. And the poor character building.
And the grammar. *gets out machete*
Jaywing
10-01-2009, 02:57 PM
Yeah, but please don't eat her! Okay, Twi, tell them what kind of book you like to read (Try to minimize Twilight... I don't want you to get mauled...) and what you write. And don't mind Fiction... She likes to eat newbs...

And I wasn't going to eat her - I even apologised to her before I presented my argument. That doesn't exactly reek of "Let's eat her because she likes sparkly vampires and clichees up to her eyeballs"...

Hiya!
Okay so under the advice of Jaywing, I shall now tell you a little bit about my reading writting, etc.
I have won two first place awards for my writting, and a few for various other forms of art.
I am currently wreading the Summoning and debating weather to read Anne of Green Gables or Gone with the Wind next. (Help Please!)
I think that covers most of it. I don't really have bad grammar, but I wear contacts so somtimes the screen blurs.
Homework Time! Bye!

Hiya!
Okay so under the advice of Jaywing, I shall now tell you a little bit about my reading writting, etc.
I have won two first place awards for my writting, Grr, it's spelled writing, not writting. and a few for various other forms of art.
I am currently wreading Wreading? What the hell is that? It's reading. the Summoning and debating weather to read Anne of Green Gables or Gone with the Wind next. (Help Please!)
I think that covers most of it. I don't really have bad grammar, but I wear contacts so somtimes Meh, I won't pounce on you for this one. You forgot the 'e' it's spelled 'sometimes'. the screen blurs.
Homework Time! Bye!
Hm, welcome to YWO. You kind of contradicted yourself with the 'not really having bad grammar' thing, because you spelled reading and writing wrong. Makes me wonder about these first place awards.
Read the FAQs and Rules, critiquing guidelines, blahblahblah.
I didn't read any of the other posts, so I might just be asking questions you have already answered.
What genre do you read? What genre do you write? Do you write poetry, short stories, novels or novellas? How long have you been writing? How long have you been serious about your writing?
I think that's it. Once again, Welcome.

Oh, one more thing;
I have a job as a book reviewer, I just read "A Walk Throught A Window"
I thought I was really impressive. I won't spoile it for you, but you should read it!

To awnser some of your questions, I don't Intend to have a carrer in writting, I'm not that serious about it. I don't care what I read or write, all depends on my mood.
If you have ever heard of Christine Harris (author of the undercover girl series) she has read some of my writting and liked it. But I do not Intend to put that on here.

Anne of Green Gables. Definitely.
Writing, honey, not "writting".
And once your grammar and spelling gets as bad as it does in the last post, it's time to get new contacts. O_o
And that sounds pretty cool. ^_*
...So exactly what ARE you doing here, if you're not here to post up your writing for critiques? O_o ?

You're about 12. So she's young, and seems a little arrogant. xP Bad combo.
miss_smiley
10-02-2009, 12:23 PM
Hmmm. I'm not sure about arrogant - I think it's more like being a big fish in a little pond. You haven't been exposed to much, have you, Twise?
(<-- Studies psychology. Has the same kind of thing - singer with a big voice in a community of choral singers.)
Don't take this the wrong way, ok, but don't get complacent. I'm sort of jumping the gun, but even when you ARE good, you cannot afford to get stagnant. That, dude, is that one certain way to fail.
I wouldn't say this to you if it wasn't true.

I hate Twilight.
(:
I hate a lot of things at the moment, like Statistics and math in general.
(:
Welcome to YWO. Use correct grammar please. We are a writing website. Firefox offers spell check with its browser. Or, you know, just proofreading in general would work too.
There is nothing good about Twilight. xP
Read some good literature, like Fight Club or Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. Or The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, or anything by Edgar Allan Poe. Maybe even try some of Stephen King's short stories.
Point being, read something other than Meyer's crap. :)
That's all the advice I have for the day. Goodbye.
