The picture doesn't count because:
1) You're wearing clean clothes. All genuine pirates have moth-eaten, sweat-dissolved rags that could wipe out nearby fish populations if washes in the ocean
2) You don't have a rabid, flea-bitten pet attacking the camera
3) Frankly, you're pretty.You don't have scurvy, mass warts or kilometer-long scars, and your hair isn't tengled up in so many knots it practicaly becomes a knitted shawl
4) You know how to type, think and talk properly: pirates are idiots. You're not. Therefore the pic has several power points deducted from it...
5) Your hat doesn't have any gull-crap in it. Proof that the spirit (and smell) of sea-sailing is not present in the pic, and therefore, is invalid proof of pirate superiority.

In short: you're too sweet to be a pirate. That pic's got nothing on us ninjas!
