As my title says, I have a bad case of writer's block. I relly enjoy writing, but I don't seem to have any ideas on what to write..
Do you have any advice or something to help me?

Yeah, you go to the chatbox and talk about your plot to your pals. So far, that helped everyone that had done it so far.

I'm pressed for time, so I'll merely list them
-Listen to movie soundtracks
-Write down your dreams before you forget them
-Start off with whatever is in your head at the moment and try to make sense of it
-Do something different in your life and thus you'll feel different experiences and feel the need to express them
-Go on deviantart.com, search something you like and write a story about what's going on (Similar to the describing what's in the picture exercise somewhere on this forum)

Writer's block does not exist. It's the writer intentionally or unintentionally being lazy, whatever the reason. The only way to get yourself to write, is to write. Sit down and force yourself to do so. If you really feel uninterested in writing, or stuck, then just write down a whole load of garbage. Write a random story about a talking hamster with cerebral palsy. It doesn't matter. Just write. Get all the crap out of you until the words start coming again.
Or you can live under the illusion that you have this magic thing called "writer's block," and allow such things to control you. There are rarely any good reasons for not writing, and unless you are going through some serious personal problems, "writer's block" is not one of them. Suck it up and start writing.

I've also been stricken with a bad case of writer's block.
I know what I want to happen, and I have the ideas in my head, but I just don't know how they should happen.
All help will be appreciated.

What I always do is just cease writing for a while. To me, writing is like a drug, and I need my fix of writing. I don't know if you're that way, but I am. So, I just stop writing, listen to music, read, watch movies, or whatever. Then I get my ideas and I need to write so I'll start again. It's fun. Trust me.

Do you want me to (temporarily) stop righting entirely? As in not even on this website?

No, I mean it's up to you. I mean, if you don't have a story idea, don't beat your mind to death.

What makes it even more frustrating is that I do have the idea in my head, but I am unwilling to put it on paper, or rather, MS Word.
As if I feel ready to start writing again, and then when I begin to type, my mind tells me to stop.
....does this make any sense?

Ah, I see what the problem is now. Next time, I think you should write until your mind tells you to stop, then save it and then revise what you have the next time you feel like writing. Or, try to think of a new idea, something totally random like an idea for a short story, and write that. Sometimes writing something other than the story at hand, no matter how cheasy the other idea is, works to spark your interest in the other one.

The story I am working on at the moment looks like an amalgamesh of sub-plots so far.
Rather than writing one long story, I've been contemplating writing eac of these complex sub-plots into their own short story.

So, it's basically all background and the general story comes from there?

Yes, I have a voracious appetite for back story.

I am new to this, but like all of you I have experienced writers block. What I have found that works for me is to just write, whether its good or not it doesn't matter. What is most important at a time like that is to get past the block. I have found that in those pieces which seem to not make sense I have found some truly interesting ideas. I once wrote a story about my experience with writers block, and it turned out to be one of my best. Anyway that has worked for me, maybe it will work for you. Good luck and if I can be helpful, then here I am.
