Ugh...I write in the living room. I want the computer moved to my room, though...it sucks having to write while people walk by, making noise, asking you to do this, or do that.

I write in my room. Thank goodness for laptops! Room is quiet, but dining room has internet. The ultimate annoyance.

At least, at home. Right now I write in my dorm room. Or the floor lounge if a roommate's watching TV.

And ironically, the internet hasn't worked in my room since Thanksgiving, yet the lounge's internet works fine. :rolleyes:

I put outer space because basically I write wherever I can. Sometimes that's at home, sometimes at school, sometimes in the library, sometimes in the car, etc...

Mostly at home in my room. I used to write on the bus and tram, but I don't use those any more, and I don't get chance anywhere else. I have to write in my room because if I'm anywhere else I'm public property. I'm still public property in my room, but I can at least glare if anyone comes through the door, and they'll go away ... sometimes.

I write in Outer Space when I'm returning home. :D But, mostly, it's in my room. :)

My computer is in the living room so I have no choice, but hopfully I will get a laptop soon and I can write in my rooom or on a hill somewhere. :)

I write in my room becaouse during the time I write I have some semblence of piece and quiet...but I would love to write in the library...its always so much fun to go there because it always has the kind of noise level I write best in; its quiet but there is a kind of humming (almost) in the bg that lets you know that there are other people there and that you're not completely alone. (I like having people around me, especially quiet people cuz I don't live with any...)

I really separate myself from the rest of my family. I'm the oddball, my mother is a pharmacist, my father is the stay at home dad who likes to hunt and other random manly things, my little sister is a total pokemon freak... I know right, then there is me, musically inclined, graceful, pretty(I know I'm very modest, but at least I didn't call myself gorgeous.), dorky, Mary. I never leave my room, unless it's to practice my flag for guard or to practice soccer, therefore it's generally where my works are created. On my trusty MacBook that is.. :)

Like Phantom, I, too, am the oddball in my family. My grandfather delivers important mail a state over, my grandmother cooks and tidies the house, my mother is something I can't even begin to explain [she says she's a project manager, whatever that is;] my dad is a construction worker, my sister Jen can do practically anything, and my sister Jess is everyone's little angel. I'm the only one that likes to write. I couldn't say that I'm the only one that wants to act, because Jen want to act just so that she can become better than me at everything. So writing is really my thing.
To answer the question, I steal my ma's computer from the kitchen's study and travel up to my room, where I can [usually] concentrate.

I have my own little play house (I know it sounds cheesy but it's really cool!) behind my house it has air condition electricity, a computer, an electric keyboard, my quads (when they arn't at school) lots of art I'v done on the walls, and a big compfy chair where I write.

I write on my computer when my sister isn't hogging it, but if not, usually in my room on looseleaf or in a notebook. You've no idea how many scraps of paper with story snippets and ideas I found when I was cleaning my room. Let me just tell you, it was a lot.

I can't write with music playing, unless it's quiet orchestrated music, then I can have it. It breaks my concentration on the story, and I start listening to the lyrics instead. It takes me a long time to write anything down.

I usually write in bed, my bed is pretty much where I do everything, from sleeping, writing, all the way to... uhm... well, that should be obvious >_> My shitty back limits me a lot of times and I can't sit in a chair for long or I seize up. Sometimes I write at the library, but only short stuff.

My 'puter is in the corner of Kadath & I's room. That's usually where, though sometimes I use my laptop in bed if it's late at night or my computer is acting up.

I write in the most empty place of the house, wherever that is. Empty meaning devoid of people, and devoid of clutter. Otherwise I get distracted, which happens too much :)

Unless I'm not in a gathering with my friends and we decide that that day we will all write together, then I'm usually sitting in my room at the pc and writing. :) Sometimes, but only sometimes, I like to go to my moms quiet room and write something there, but this has started only recently- after I left the state of living alone and started to live with my best friend. :)

At school or the computer at home -- the problem is that we used to have a kids computer but its motherboard (don't ask me what that is!) crashed and now the computer's broken...So I use my mother's computer and don't get as much time on it. :(

My mom is always complaining about how I live in my room. I'm locked up in my room writing and listening to music for hours a day. I like to keep my writing private right now, and my room is the only one with a lock on it (thank the Lord).
