If you could be any type of writer, which would you be? Choose an option in the poll and let us know why!

I chose "the introverted hermit". I'm already introverted ;P
That's also the only one I'd really want to be. Next to the psychotic or insane fellow.

The activist writer. xD Or something along those lines. Or an introverted hermit. Both work.

Aww, can I be the introverted hermit activist? Anonymous donations.

If it hadn't been for this summer, I would have said hermit easily. But dude, being completely isolated for days at a time is freaking boring. So I will be an introverted hermit who pops up every day or so to snark at people for fun.

Hmm, this is a really good question.

But I think this answers what I'd say:

How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.

Often people think that writers are humans stuck in a fantasy world who dream too much. Why can't writers bring their dreams to reality? Why can't they be the main character of their own story?

I want to prove to those people who think writers are lonely people that we can, in fact, live. Our inspiration doesn't necessarily come from sticking our noses in manuscripts or from spending days in shadows. We can stand in the sunlight and live stories while writing our own.

I love my days of isolation. Maybe this proves that hermitage is for me.

Interesting. As always, I got nothing to prove.

But I thought over the donations thing, and they wouldn't be anonymous. Just as long as I don't have to give them my e-mail address. Or, uh, meet them in person, or ...

I don't think I will be a hermit. I want to, but I'm going to have to face up to reality in five ... four ... three ... two ...

The scientist turned writer. I think that type of writer is most respected. Plus I like science and it looks good on a blurb.

LOL.

In real life I'm normally an opinionated, rude snark.
Mostly because I'm surrounded with idiots and I don't want to be taken for something I'm not. I want people to get me, not the nice, happy-go-lucky, fake me, but the honest me.

I would probably be the hermit, locked away in a cabin by the ocean, with a huge library and a internet connection...
The scientist (archeologist) turned writer would be more my drill though, in real life. :P
