I don't think it's really worth to be pissed off at. I mean, it's a communication tool that still allowed some critiquing to get done and still kept a lot of us in touch while this site was down for more than a week. I'm sorry you didn't approve of it, so much so it warranted you contributing the post "This site sucks ass" in a bizarre attempt to derail an otherwise enjoyable conversation before disappearing; however, I must commend you for your constructive advice in that post. You were one of the few, true members of YWO. While this site was down, you had the patience and perseverance to wait for the arrival of the one, true site, rather than turning to a false one, like that temporary abomination. Thank god, that in the crisis, your faith never swayed. You withstood temptation and did not turn to the other site, the site of the golden calf.

I put myself before you--and all YWO--to be stoned for my idolatry and disobedience. I must be cleansed, lest I taint the one true forum.

I don't think it's idolatry if it's still the same god (namely, Shaun :P) so I'm cool with it. I liked the pointless spamming and total lack of constructive work--I forgot how much I missed the Chatbox.

I enjoyed the temporary forum too. While nothing can replace the real site, I enjoyed the spamming. There was some critiquing taking place (Mercy and I both critiqued one of Shaun's recent stories and I got two crit tickets for a story I posted). I mean, I though it was fun.

Don't get me wrong. I like this site way more. In the post you're quoting my second sentence says "Nothing can replace the real site." But just because the real site is better, that's no reason to be offended by the existence of a Temp site, like Scotty clearly was.

A temp site was necessary. We didn't know how long YWO was going to be down, and I wasn't about to stop the site just because of downtime. It was never meant to be a permanent replacement, though. Ever. But, it functioned fine as a temp site.
