Greetings,

My name, that label my parents stuck on me the day I was born, is Aaron. I have been writing seriously for a few years, and my first novel is currently a work in progress. I love the fantasy genre; the more fantastic the better. I used to dislike dark references in stories, such as blood and anger, because I thought that it would ruin the 'fantasticness' of the story. Now I realize that even death, the darkest reference, only deepens the tale and makes it better.

At the time of writing this, I'm close to eighteen. I plan to become a high school English teacher, and I will begin my training for that in the fall. My original intent was to earn my way out of that career with my writing, but I think I'd rather stick around, and share what I learned with others. I look forward to sharing my work here and reading other people's work as well. Along with novels, I love to write poetry, which I usually get good feedback on, so I hope you enjoy it.

I, too, love fantasy, but too much blood and gore kind of repels me from a good story. Deaths are perfectly okay for me, as long as they are realistic and well-planned. Anger is a basic emotion that brings a story alive for me; in fact, in my soon-to-be-published books, anger--and other emotions--are the root of power. Anyway, enough babbling--welcome!!
