Alright, so here's a more silly poll for you all. What is your favorite punctuation mark and why?
I love the semi-colon. I don't know why, I just think it's a really cool punctuation mark. It just looks so civilised. Just ignore me, I'm babbling...

Ellipsis. It's got a cool name and I like the way you can write it differently . . . :)

I love ellipses. Anybody who's read any of my writing knows that. >.<
But I think they can work like anywhere. You can use them in any situation, they make dialogue much more realistic.

I'd have to say the semicolon, with the dash being a close second. Not sure why, I just find the semicolon an underused and underrated punctuation mark.

I'm first on quotations. Personally, I like dialogue a lot...

All about the ellipsis... because I said so...
Seriously though, look how awesome this is...
And to think, I didn't even know what it was called until last year...

I'd have to say the dash. Don't really know why. Allthough the ellipsis is cool, too, and I do like semicolons.

I love exclamation marks, because they're just so loud!!!! Without the exclamation mark, you would never be able to yell across the computer or make someone in a story be excited/angry/anything else and it would be exciting! :D

Haha anyone who posted in my hello thread knows I'd have to respond to this.
The comma, because I just can't seem to end anything and I just want to keep going, and going, and going, and you can keep going with a comma and almost never stop, because that's the magic of commas you see, it could be a half a page long and the sentence still hasn't ended.
But I think you get my point..I mean, comma.
"I like quotation marks." I said.

I like the exclamation mark! It can represent so many things. I also like the ellipse.
Dash. :3
Ellipsis and semicolon are awesome, too.

Ellipse. Because, it's one of the more uncommonly names for a Punctuation Mark. Also because it illustrates action and unknownness. And because it's awesome.

Semicolon/elipse are my favourites!

Mine is the ellipse. Although I never knew it had a name, I use it all the time! Quite useful...
After that would probably be the exclamation mark. I love it!

Full stop FTW!

I like the double dash (--) because it's kind of like a semi-colon, but different. Plus, I tend to interrupt a lot in my dialogue, like:
"Yeah, but--"
"I don't want to hear it!"
Double dash, lol. I love it. :)

I love the semicolon, for some strange reason. I think my poems show that; I have to watch or I'll find that every sentence has one. Then the sentence stretches on; some people don't like that...
The ellipsis is a close second...

I have a particular liking for the semicolon which I simply cannot explain. Then it's the ellipse.

This is exactly how I feel too.

Semicolons all the way! Although I love the ellipse and the dash to. Why have one period when you can have three?
Semi-colon, just cuz it makes things sound smoother a lot of the time.
