So, what TV shows do you love? Old and new, doesn't matter.
I don't watch much TV anymore (at least not on actual TV), but for me, it's:
Family Guy
American Dad
Firefly
Band of Brothers
Jackass
Sliders
Ren & Stimpy
Rugrats (the original)
Doug
Salute Your Shorts
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
All That (the original seasons)
That's all I can think of at the moment...
I don't really watch that much TV but when I do it's usually just the OC and video on trial. I used to watch 8 simple rules but it got cancelled.
I don't have one but I really like Animal Planet.

Sarah Silverman Program
If I Happen (I normally don't) to Catch It:
The Office
X-Files
Twilight Zone
The Simpsons
Family Guy
Avatar: The Last Airbender
King of the Hill
Sometimes (Rarely) on Adult Swim:
The Venture Bros.
Moral Orel
The Oblongs
Cancelled/Never On
Invader Zim
Rocko's Modern Life
Doug (Nickelodeon's)
Red Dwarf
Chef!
Salute Your Shorts
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Strangers with Candy
Stella
The War At Home
My Life As a Teenage Robot
Oh yea Are you afraid of the dark was cancelled too. Too bad I really liked that show.

I miss Nickelodeon. I would still be watching it today (at 24!) if my favorite shows were still one :(. But alas, they've completely destroyed what was great about that channel. Sigh...it was the greatest place in the world as a kid. Those were the days when I was excited to go home cause I'd get to watch Stick Stickly and all my favorite cartoons...Saturday nights had all my favorite programs... :(. I miss those days...TV was so good then...
Family Guy
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Stargate SG-1 (best sci-fi show ever!)
Stargate Atlantis
Full Metal Alchemist (started watching it 4 days ago, love it!)
Pokemon (just kidding) :D
Heroes
Simpsons
Inuyasha (if I end up staying up 'till 2 AM at a friends, might as well) :)
Nick, you have great taste in shows. I like most of those, but these are my favorites. Why'd you specify the Nick version of Doug? I watched the Disney version, then got so thrown off when I saw a different one on Nick. Do you know why there are 2?
Avataaaarrr! I'm in the process of getting Carraka and Imelda hooked on it. Fantastic show. It's got some naievely goofy moments, but for the most part it's gold. Hopefully the TV networks will take a hint at its success and make better-quality shows like it.

It was originally on Nickelodeon first. It ran for years there, mostly as re-runs, and then it was dropped for other programming and was picked up by someone else and played on Saturday mornings with a new season. Both are good, but the Nickelodeon version will always be slightly better.
And don't bother trying to get 'me' into Avatar. I hate that show with a passion.

I agree with Shaun. Both Dougs are good, but the Nickelodeon's is slightly better than Disney's, though, with me, it's more of a nostalgia thing. Like it had that song "banging on a trashcan" and just a lot of random moments that really made the show awesome. Like when his sister made him pretend to be a butler for when her boyfriend came over and he dove onto the table yelling, "There's a bomb in the lasagna!"
I personally love Avatar, though I don't tell most people lest they think I'm a preteen girl. The characterization I think is superb, like even of the villains.
I generally don't like Anime, but you're right, Full Metal Alchemist is awesome.
On Shaun's list, I agree Firefly is good, though I've only seen a couple episodes. But I personally don't like Jackass. It's a show about stupid people doing stupid and potentially dangerous things for the sake of stupidity to entertain the uneducated masses. I don't consider someone stapling notes to his ass while screaming in pain is particularly funny.
Also, I don't think American Dad is all that good. Like it has its moments and its fairly entertaining, but I personally don't think its well written and shows minimal understanding of the issues (the show has a left-bias, so I technically should agree with it, but I think it tends to examine the issues poorly - like when it tries to make a point, it comes across as contrived and sloppily implemented - and it just isn't all that funny... except for Klaus and Roger. They're hysterical).

TV shows...
Fairly Odd Parents. Danny Phantom. Spongebob Squarepants. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
:D
I don't watch those awesom-est tv shows like Heroes. Because, if I did, my straight-As are gonna go down the drain.

Woo, TV. :D I hardly watch it anymore ...
The Simpsons
Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Neighbours
Ye Olde Shows Of Childhood
Maid Marian And Her Merry Men (Shaun, I'm going to make you watch those :P)
Crime Traveller (cancelled after one series *sniff*)
The Jumanji Cartoon
Sunset Beach
That's all I can think of right now.

OMG I LOVE THAT SONG! Gosh those were good days! Remember "duuuuuraaango! Durango Doug!"? :D

Generally I only watch the stunts that aren't gross and don't involve gross pain (like the stapling or the paper cuts). I find the stunts that introduce social commentary to be particularly entertaining. It's interesting to see how people in everyday life react to the abnormal situations that the Jackass people create. It is basically mindless humor though, but I find it hilarious at times. But the gross stuff or the really violent stuff I skip.

That's the point though. It's displaying extreme right-winged views and extreme left-winged views.
Klaus and Roger :D. I love them. American Dad isn't as good as Family Guy, but I still find it entertaining.

OMG FRIENDS! How could I forget? Joey is so fun. :D
OMG I LOVE THAT SONG! Gosh those were good days! Remember "duuuuuraaango! Durango Doug!"? :D
Oh, wow, I actually remember that!! With the cast-iron stamp that spelled out "Durango", and then the other one shaped like a chicken when he was being scared? :D

See? Those were the good old days when TV was still awesome! Anyone ever watch Hey Arnold, Catdog, Ah! Real Monsters, etc.?
Hey, Arnold, yes. Really fun show. And the intro... XD "Hey, Arnold!"
"Move it, football head!"
Nowadays you mostly see poor animation and plots which are nothing more than people with different backgrounds and personalities thrown together, without any thought in it. I see so many commercials for new shows that I decide never to watch just by the commercial.

HEY ARNOLD! Oh I love that too! I was so like Helga it was ridiculous ...
Did anyone used to watch those old Disney shows? Aladdin, Rescue Rangers, Gargoyles? Those were some of the first non-educational ones I saw. :D

I don't really watch TV anymore. Well, I don't watch many shows, but I watch a load of movies. Mostly stuff from Sky Movies. And I only use three Sky Movies channels: Premiere (if something goods on there), Sci-Fi and Horror and the HD channels (again, if there's something good on there). I do, however, have a weird obsession with Family Guy, as it kicks the Simpsons' ass. Seriosuly, Sky One should show Family Guy instead of the Simpsons. I play a lot more video games than I watch TV, really. Yeah, I'm sad that way...
