Hey, I'm Chance, and even though the word is French for luck, I wouldn't call myself lucky in any way at all.

I'm from Liverpool, England, where we have a few things going for us (The Beatles, Liverpool FC) but not much else. As soon as the sweet word of 'University' comes around, I'm out of here.

Just some random little things to fill up space: I speak both English and French, and I'm pretty proficient in Spanish, Italian and Norwegian too. I don't write a story without a tub of Ben & Jerry's. I like things tidy but make lots of messes. I have the tone that suggests I'm always being sarcastic, usually because I always am.

I have a chronic problem of starting stories and not finishing them. I've been trying to buckle down of this lately when I discovered in the past 2 years I've started 28 stories amassing thousands of words between them all, yet I've never finished one. I'm trying to correct this.

Although I have basic tact, I am a very open, honest person and a serious analyser, which hinders my own writing since my brain automatically goes to edit as a write, but makes me a fairly decent reviewer.

Oh, and Hi.

Chance is a cool name. Never heard anyone go by it, but then again I'm neither from England nor France. Welcome! I hope this place will help you finish your stories.

Oh, you said "hi". So...hello! :D

Ahoy.

I have run out of things to say in intro threads, and I'm critiquing right now, so I should focus on that. :p Welcome. :D

My name's actually Georgia, but I can't remember the last time someone called me it. Chance isn't a common name in either of them countries by the way, it's just one of those things.

Welcome to the site :).
By the way, the U of Liverpool is one of the few Unis in the world that offers a degree in science fiction studies :P. I want to go there :S.

Anywho, hope we can help you finish your stories and such! Welcome and enjoy your stay!

U of Liverpool, which one? We have like 4. Liverpool Uni, John Moores, Liverpool Hope or Edge Hill?

Either way, I'm not my hometowns biggest fan, it's my mission in life to get as far away, as far as possible.

I don't know actually. I just know one of them has it...

I think it was the U of Liverpool, not the old polytechnics.

I take French! But I won't ask you for help with my French homework. Maybe to translate lyrics. Once in a while.

Welcome to the site! Hmm--I can't really help people with any language. Except English. I guess. Sorta. Not really. I don't know enough grammar, for instance. Plus, I type the way I talk, so you can read all about my confidence.

Oh, and Hi.

First of all, WELCOME :) Aww, you're not just another newbie, you're a special one! (I know, that sounds a bit off but hey, no harm done. :))

Yeah, I have that problem as well. 28 stories?? WOW. Maybe you're just a perfectionist? ;)

YAY! Analyser. *quotes Rafael_Domination* This is perfect!

Oh, and Hi. :)
