Just an idea

Hello there!

I was sitting in school when a good bit of idea spilled into my little mind.


Here's the plot: America's economy collapses and a part of the nation decides to work independently (hunting, fishing, and farming mainly). But as this part of the nation changes its ways, so does the government. After years of negotiation, the government changes from a democracy to a dictatorship and elects a man named, Mark Coventeir.

So they obviously go to war. The story will be with a mixture of first-person accounts by a solder coming from Iraq to fight in the "new" civil war and a more general view of it all.

And... you're telling us your new awesome inovative idea so we steal it, write it first, publish it and get rich? :)
I know how it feels when you think up a new plot and you believe it'll be grand but... calm down!
it's probably best to keep it to yourself till you can outline the full plot and truly know what the story's going to be about!

It sounds like, the people lost faith in their government and started to revert back into hunter-gatherer nomads...I heard of this type of plot, but I've never read one yet.
