Not a beautifully written book, but it was perfect for the subject. I read the back cover and was like "Oh my God, I have to read this."
It's about this guy named Stan Smith who works at a movie store. This is probably the only book where you can mix a fat boss, six-foot-tall mom, crazy inventor father, lopsided house, farting dog, perfect-but-secretly-bad girl, insane best friend, classmate trying to kill him, some weird hippie man who loves the mom and says things that no one understands, and a car that runs on fry oil and get the best realistic novel about a run-of-the-mill kind of guy I've ever read.
Seriously.
Read it.
You will laugh at every single page.
I give it a 9.5/10. Not a ten only because the girl kind of pissed off a lot.
I read this book. One of the best I've read this year! It was really funny. If you liked this one you should read "It's kind of a funny story" by Ned Vizzini, or is it Vizinni?

I'm reading that! It's pretty good, but in a different way from Going Nowhere Faster.
