The Chaos Theory

Okay, so basically, the chaos theory is lots of little theorys, but the general gist of it is that no two things are related and everything is random e.g. - a butterfly fluttering its wings in scotland could cause a hurricane in America, and when someone figures out the meaning of life everything starts all over again, kinda like the whole A.D B.C years thing,
Anyone go by this theory? Or think its complete poo?? :confused:

I don't quite understand, but if everything I do has a huge consequence then just think, we have a trillions of little life forms all over the earth and if just fluttering their wings causes hurricanes, then shouldn't we have a little apocalypse?
