Hamlet!

Ok you guys, I had to read Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, for school, so I'm going to review it. And look I'm using good spelling and capitalizing all my words! Anyway, I was reading Hamlet, the entire book, its really long but I didn't think I would like it but I did! Alot of it I didn't understand but the book had a page on the left where they said what all the words mean. I think just getting the general idea of the play is more important than knowing everything they say. I thuoght it would be really boring but I actually really like the characters. In my mind I picture Hamlet as looking like Edward but I know Hamlet's alot smarter even if he wanted to kill himself. After reading Hamlet, Edward seems so dumb! LOL but I still love him, but I also love Hamlet. And then when Ophelia went insane I was almost crying! It was so sad about her dad, but Shakespeare's really good at making emotions in his books. Anyway, I liked it a lot and you guys should all go read it!! :D

lol Kim, I know youve got the hots for Horatio. XD I dont know, I just really liked it, it didn't think I would but I did. No one will ever replace Edward in my heart but I love Hamlet too. And I didn't say Edward was stupid, I just now that Hamlet is really wise and stuff like that. Edward's just hot. :D

hamlet? was ok i guess but the whole thing was a bit complicated. maybe if they translated it properply then peeople would get it more? i mean its soooo hard to understand you need a translater thing and its just a waste of time. I like it when i can just read it becoz then we can relate to the characates way better. Thats why people like twilight because they can relate. The story is good tho, shakespear was very cool to make up all those plots. Too bad they all look cliched now!!!!! Anways thats what i think.

Buttercup, your comments are very good (except for the twilight thing xD) but don't worry no one is going to freak out at you, YET. We understand that some newbs have some problems getting started with using correct grammar and no chatspeak but please make a genuine effort. Remember, this isn't IM, you don't have to get your post out there ASAP, so take your time with your posts!

appleofmyeye, why do you think we don't want to become better writers? I think I'm good but I know I'm not good enough and that's why I signed up for this site so that I can get better. Like i said, kim's got a hot temper but we still love her because she's a great friend! Even though I think she's wrong about Hamlet lol. Don't worry, I'll always love Edward too! But Hamlet also.

Be ready for more than just that! The Hamlet assignment was optional, actually, but free points are totally a must or IB English. Our new *drumroll* Hedda Gabler fanfiction assignment is not. Apparently the teachers want to "incorporate more creative writing" into the curriculum, which would be great if it wasn't all fanfiction.
