Instead of just posting what song you're listening to, how's about we put our favourite line of the song there?
"We all feed on tragedy, it's like blood to a vampire"
Vicarious - Tool
To me, that's very beautiful, tragic and true in itself.
"Finality waits outside, Weeping in perplexity's arms, carressing our smiles inside." - System of a Down - Thetawaves

"I wanna sunburn, just to know I'm alive"
Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory
I like it because it's simple, but . . . I like it because. . . because I just like it.

And I was off to old Dakota where a genocide sleeps
In the black hills, the bad lands, the calloused east
I buried my ballast, I made my peace
Heard four winds leveling the pines
Four Winds
Bright Eyes
I guess it's the most powerful line in the songs, and I like the song in particular because it is like poetry.

This battered room I've seen before
The broken bones they heal no more, no more
With my last breath I'm choking
Will this ever end I'm hoping
My world is over one more time
Tears Don't Fall
Bullet for My Valentine
Dunno why I like it so much, it's kinda morbid but it's interesting.
(Sorry for the double post btw.)

"You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes
You might find...
You get what you need!"
You can't always get what you want
Rolling Stones
I love that song because it's true. Although I perfer the cover that Band From TV did. Since my acting God, Hugh Laurie, sang lead vocals and played the keyboard.

"I will let you down, I will make you hurt."
Hurt, NIN
I don't know how to explain it, but even though my bro is the big NIN fan, I have to sit in awe at Trent's lyrical abilities. *shrug* i don't know how to say it, but they're simple words put into simple phrases, but somehow they convey a feeling and a situation that is really vivid in the mind.

"Withering away, A shrinking violet dies,
so full of life, these lights have dried me out
Into the sea, I needed a drink,
I never thought this would consume me whole."
Lead Sails and a Paper Anchor -- Atreyu
I've always liked this line, just for the uncommon, but interesting lyric for this song that's [I think] about suicide. d:

Because my ego is that big.

"And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly for a white guy."
Pretty Fly - The Offspring
That's probably one of my favourite lines in a song EVER. xD

I'm pretty sure my favorite is "He's cruising in his Pinto, he sees homies as he pass, but if he looks twice they gonna KICK HIS LILY ASS!" :D.

One of my best friends is half-Thai and he says, "And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly for a Thai guy", which sounds way cooler. xD

The only line of a rap song I can think of is: "Get on your knees...". And that is from the re-done version of Lollipop, original by Lil Wyane, remake be Framing Henley. You should look it up!

That's actually a Johnny Cash cover..
((Actually it was originally Reznor's. Crazy huh? Cash redid it way late in his life. But i still tend to prefer the Johnny Cash version most days, i have to admit.))
"And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free
To those who ground me, take a message back from me
Tell them how I'm defying gravity"
-Defying Gravity, Wicked
I'm a little bit of a sucker for musical theater, and I just saw this when I was on spring break in NYC, making me fall in love with the show even more than I was before. It's a great song and I've always loved the cheesy cliche defiance stories. XD But they're still cool lyrics, especially for a musical.

I love Wicked ^^. I think the greatest experience of my life.
For you I'll break tonight in fifty little pieces and I'll keep them in my pocket till the day I'm confident my warmth can numb your pain.

I know he's a total unknown artist but I love his songs. I really just like this because it's pretty ^^.

I love Wicked ^^. I think the greatest experience of my life.
I could pick a lot of quotes from Wicked to be my favorite :P
"I remind them on their own we have to think of celebrated heads of state or especially great communicators, did they have brains of knowledge? Don't make me laugh, they were popular!"
Popular - Wicked. I love it :)
but as for another song I would say...
"This love is difficult, but it's real" ... ... Love Story :P I know... it's personal though!!! :)

LOL! I love that line too!!!!! But I really like:
Got the radio on, my old blue jeans
And I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve
Feeling lucky today, got the sunshine
Could you tell me what more do I need
And tomorrow's just a mystery, oh yeah
But that's ok

They say Mark lives for his work
And Mark's in love with his work
. . .Mark hides in his work.

I'll come back when you call me.
No need to say 'goodbye'."

Tell me what you want from here
Something that were like those years
Sick of all the insincere
So I’m gonna give all my secrets away
This time, don’t need another perfect line
Don’t care if critics never jump in line
I’m gonna give all my secrets away
