Let us know if you're in college, where you're going, what your major is (if any, or at least what you like studying), and anything relevant. Part of this is curiosity, part of this is to pool together all the college kids, and part of this is for my own selfish reasons as I have an idea that I want to propose to all you college kids at some point.

So, I'll start off:
I'm a senior at the University of California, Santa Cruz studying Modern Literature. I'll be graduating in June and hopefully going to graduate school for an MA or a PhD in literature (well, eventually I'll get the latter, but some schools don't have PhD programs). And I think beyond that you all know enough about me.

Now your turn!

I'll be going to college in September once I've finished my GCSEs. I'm hopefully be going to do AS/A Levels in English Literature, History (19th/20th Century), Classics and either Media Studies or Film Studies. :)

lango: A senior in college is basically someone on their last year or last semester/quarter before graduating. So, I'm graduating in June of this year, at the end of the last quarter of the academic year. Therefore I am a senior. If you're not graduating until the next academic year, then you're not a senior yet (you're a junior). It's weird.

Lykaios: Oh, cool!

Cool thread!

I'm a sophomore at the University of Maryland double majoring in English (my focus will either be Creative Writing, American Literature, or Folklore) and Journalism (though I think I might drop Journalism. I don't like it as much as I thought I would). Though I have the correct amount of credits for a second semester sophomore, I tend to take a lot of electives, so I'm probably going to be in college longer than the standard four years. I work on the campus literary magazine, and I'm thinking about applying to the campus Writers' House. I have made Dean's List so far every semester of my college career. I'm right now looking into finding an internship for the summer. Outside of class and studying, I spend my free time chilling with my friends, writing, going to Terps games, playing pick-up football and basketball, and, of course, partying.

Oh, at my school you're considered a senior as long as your have at least 90-credits. Like so some people are called like "second year seniors" and stuff.

That's probably too much information... I gave like a full introduction. At least I didn't tell you that my waist size is 32, that I start my weeks clean shaven and end them with a full beard, I enjoy moonlit nights and long walks on the beach, and I think the communal showers might be giving me a fungus (just kidding, but seriously).

Freshman at Drew University. Major is Biology. I'm too tired right now to elaborate.

Wow, that's a lot of information, Croc! By the way, there are quite a few universities that offer advanced degrees specifically in folklore. It's kind of a fascinating and useful niche these days. Folklore degrees open a lot of doors for people interested in teaching or media (books, movies, history stuffs, etc.).

And thanks for putting your name in here, Scotty!
