What do you usually do when you try to write something but you just can't, although the idea is present and some images (poetry-wise, to be specific) are found in your head already, but you have no idea how to make use of them or connect all those ideas together in a fairly coherent piece of writing. In response to Rose's question: The problem I always face with is the bit of filler between my main scenes. All the ideas that float around my head would be mostly composed of the really important scenes that are sort of the selling points to my story. Like the event of a murder, and epic quote, the detective's theory etc etc. But what about the filler? How will I introduce the characters and get them to know each other? How will I make the killers' motives seam realistic and well figured out? Where would they live and what sort of place is it and whether it would be any relevant to the story or not? It's just all that filler bit that you HAVE to write about that would get on my tic sometimes. The way I deal with this is just watch a nice series like Sherlock or a movie and see how they do it in motion picture (and it's a nice excuse to go procrastinating :P). I don't think reading another book would help in terms of originality, since the way how they do it would be right there in the book, straight forward, and it would be hard to derive from it rather than copy it if you know what I mean. (Hope I'm not speaking nonsense). :huh:


Answering Bookworm's question though, I'm not really a chocaholic so I'll go with to never have another bite of chocolate my entire life. I imagine it would be a very tough decision, but I can live with it. I know someone who's allergic to chocolate and I can imagine how painful it must be >.< . There's a lot of good alternatives to chocolate for desserts but you can't have good alternatives to your favourite music right?
