I know about the title, and it is pretty obvious I know.
This is not in the debate area because I dont think it is a debate, this is a cry for help, maybe the biggest cry for help that I have ever given, and I know this is not the thing to post on a writing site but you are all intelligent people, so you can give me good answers.
So, heres my cry for help: *Changed Name
I have been spending all day with my best friend, *Bethany and my friend *Alex. We were in town all day, but out routine went a bit like this:
- Subway
-New Look
-Cinema to see Twilight again
- Subway
Then me and *Beth decided that I could sleep over hers. We got over her house and she introduced me to Darran Shan (If any of you have read this book, you will agree that it is amazing) and I read half when Ellen asked if I wanted a drink and I said Okay. She went down and brought up two meduim glasses, about half a pint, one with squash in, one with a clear liquid in. She passed the squash to me and kept the clear one. She said "Look what I got, Vodka" I told her not to drink any of it because she knows what has happened to people on the news and such, and what our friend *Barney had happened, even though it was quite funny.(She fell over on her carpet at home and banged her head, then when she woke up, she insited that the fall happened in Summerfield."I was in Summerfield you see") Anyway, so she downed the whole thing in one go. I was staring in amazinment that 1 - she had downed a whole half pint of vodka straight, and 2 - that she didn't listen to me! She went slightly loopy, so I calmed her down and she said that she couldn't read properly, so I decided to keep her on the floor and we listened to MCR for the next 10 minuetes. Then she insited that she must have more Vodka, and I said no and I blocked the door, but she ran down the stairs, missing a couple by tripping as you do when your drunk, grabbed the bottle, and had another gulp. She went back upstairs and I followed. She lay down saying that she was experiencing a horrible headache and that she wanted to sleep, so I let her, until she started to throw up all over the floor and I rushed her to the bathroom and she stayed there for about 5 minuetes while I texted my Dad to tell him to pick me up, because there was no way *Beth was in any fit state to host a sleepover. I told her parents that she was being sick, and they know that she has had alchahol and that she is drunk. She continued to throw up until my dad arrived. Her Mum told my Dad what happened, and when I instited that I would never drink alcahol, she frowned, but Dad belived me. Also, she blamed the whole thing on me. Nice. I was crying for ages on my dads shoulder, and it was okay, because he believed me and he was really annoyed at *beths mum, but I also was annoyed at her Dad. When he was helping *Beth, he laughed and said "Your okay then Lizzie, you look pretty Sober", and he was taking it as a joke, and also, according to her Mum, he didn't mind *Beth drinking like that, so it is partly his fault, but obviously mine. Wonderful.
I need your help. What if anything worse happens in the future. By the way, its three in the morning now, so clearly, I cannot sleep because of what happened.

Dude, everyone over drinks while they're teenagers. First time I had alcohol I was rushed to the hospital for Alcohol poisoning ^^ And yet, I still drink :D
In all honesty I don't know what you're really asking me to tell you.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, either, but a few weeks ago in our college apartment, my roommate invited several friends over, and there was a lot of drinking. I don't drink, however, and for whatever reason my roommate can't seem to get drunk no matter how much he drinks. One of the guys, however, was having trouble breathing at some point, and he was driven to the hospital, where he eventually recovered.
I think you did the right thing. Beth was clearly not capable of monitoring her alcohol consumption, so you tried to step in. If you're worried about this happening in the future, I'd recommend finding some websites that discuss what to do in these types of situations. Knowing who to call for an ambulance is definitely one thing to remember.
Dude, everyone over drinks while they're teenagers.I don't. I tend to listen to music, write, or play video games instead. Honestly, finding time to write is so hard to come by, I don't have time to be drunk, let alone be out cold for the entire next day.

Yes, saying everyone is a bit over-stated. But you have to admit like now a days 90% of the population has had an alcoholic drink before they hit 18

Thanks Andy. Jessica, you are right, but drinking 2 full wine glasses straight at 13, they nearly called the hospital, but she was chucking up EVERYWEAR. I know, nice. Hmm...

At least she's throwing up. That's a good sign. If she WASN'T puking, I'd start to get a tad bit worried considering her age and the amount of alcohol she consumed.
I had to go to the hospital because I couldn't puke. Wanted too, but couldn't. They had to make me.

I drink occasionally (I'm a 20-year-old sophomore in College), though I never drank in high school (I'm going to not count having a glass of wine on special occasions, because that's having a single glass of wine while enjoying a meal with your parents.) Basically, if you're going to drink you need to be careful. You have to know your limits--in other words, don't drink until you're plastered (I've been tipsy, but I've never blacked out or passed out or got crazy drunk). Like after you get a tipsy, you should stop. Don't drink too fast (I was once playing beer pong and I downed two cups really quickly and it made me feel sick. Even though I hadn't had a lot, I had to run to the bathroom and throw up. It was just beer and water though. I didn't like blow chunks). Also, be careful who you drink around. Don't drink around people who will try to make you drink past your limit. Don't drink around people who will leave you if you pass out.
Those are my thoughts...

Yeah, it leads to bad things. Only reason I'm alive is because my friend happned to be walking down the poll line (logging road, dirt road thing) and he saw me passed out. My other friends were so drunk they ditched me, and left me to die.

Don't bring that up Jess! I remember that... :(
I think that your friend will be fine. You just have to be there for them.

Yes, but shes not aloud to see me for a while because her Mum thinks its all my fault that she wanted to have some anyway. Its because people down the park that can sometimes let us have some vodka or something, but Beth gets addicted easily I think, so maybe thats why. Her Mum still hates me.

Meh, I'm in high school, and I drink. But I don't overdrink like most people in my Year do. When I go to a party with booze, which is quite rare, I usually have like 1-3 beers, just to get me light-headed, but not full-on can't-walk-even-three-steps drunk. I've never thrown up from drinking and when I wake up in the morning, I have a very small to nothing hangover. Just a slight headache for an hour after waking up.
Anyway, this isn't about me. I think you should tell your friend she has a damn problem and she's gonna fuck herself up bad. I would say try saying, "You'll regret it when you're older", but we're teenagers, we don't think about the future, only having a good time now. So, I'm pretty much useless.

I think it is okay to drink underage depending on the circumstances. if you are mature enough, don't overdo it, and are in a private place I think it is alright. Your friend went overboard though. And her mom if pretty judgemental if she thinks you make her daughter drink. Even though it is annoying at times, I'm glad my friends are pretty level headed and wouldn't ever drink underage. I mean, I know that will change in a few years but right now they are sorta goody two shoes, lol.

For some reason, I tend to throw up before I have trouble walking down stairs, though I never have been so drunk that stairs have posed any real problem (besides being a minor inconvenience). Also, when I'm hungover, I tend to be nauseous instead of having a headache when I wake up. The headache comes much later.

You need to sleep more :D. No but seriously I think drinking is somthing people should do sparingly.

Ah, I don't know if I'll ever drink a lot at parties, maybe I'll just stick with my 1-3 beer routine. Seems to work well enough. ^_^

Well my dad is allergic to some alcoholic beverages and when my mom drinks like one glass of wine she passes out so I'm most likely not doing any drinking even when I'm old enough.

I think alcohol smells funny, personally. I'm really sensitive to smells, so if I tried drinking anything I would probably just start gagging immediately. :)
