What's up guys. My name is Andy and I'm also from YWS too. I thought I should be a member of this site too and help make this site successful. Anyways, I'm 16 years old and I'm from HK. Came to New Zealand when I was 3 years old and have been living here for the past 13 years and hopefully more.

I am a gamer and have a habit of using gaming terms lol. Favourite games are: Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Devil May Cry, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and I play some Warcraft. Currently playing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on the Wii and it is a mean as game. Must own for anyone that has a Wii.

Now you may be asking me, why did I become a writer? Well honestly, I don't consider myself a writer really lol. I only write for fun and to improve my skills. Ever since my English teacher has commended me in my interest in creative writing, I thought that I should join a writing site. That's how I found YWS lol.

Currently, my main project is a fantasy called "Esper's Sepulchral" and I currently have a secret crush on my main character for her cute and peppy personality as well as having that depth that distinguishes her as a heroine. Basically, the concept of my fantasy is that it takes place on a make believe world that is similar to our world in many aspects, More details on it later on.

Well I guess that's all I need to say. I will do my best to help with the site and my critiques will be honest and brutal.

o.O Yeah, I should be writing the essay I didn't do last night, but I'm welcoming you instead. Don't you feel speshel? Perhaps not.

I used to have a crush on a main character (and still do,) but he was the antagonist, and I couldn't get him to die/give up/go away/suffer any sort of pain because I loved him so much. x.x So I can't write about him anymore. I'm very sad, because now I can't force other people to love him too!

And he never loved me back. This totally sucks.

I'll have you know that I wrote that essay and I didn't fall asleep in any of my classes! On the other hand, we had a math test, and I was woefully under-prepared. Something tells me I'm going to be looking at my first D since 6th grade.

And when I show that grade to my friends, they'll have to give up! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! No more geekness for me, no siree!

Why do all gamers believe Final Fantasy is better than Oblivion? Seriously, you have not lived (in the gaming world) until you pay Oblivion and seriously pay it. It kicks FF's ass!

I think it's because, and no insult to either game because I own both, Final Fantasy is different. Much different. I get so into the characters and the storylines in every Final Fantasy game I play, (FFX the most so far), the story just pulls me in to make it my favorite story in a video game. (followed closely with Ocarina of Time) The animation is great and fun to look at and plus Final Fantasy has like a whole history and legions of fans behind them. The fighting is something that a lot of people don't like but it works for this type of game and the music...oh God I could listen to that music for hours.

and Oblivion, that's a nice game too but it's just not my type or RPG. I'm sure it's great but I just can't get into it like I can with any Final Fantasy. I think it's really just a matter of preference. I'm sure if there was a poll on the internet on which was better there would be no clear cut winner. ( though I think Final Fantasy would win)
