I'm not sure you'd really want to, if you look at some of it. It'd be a great place to visit, but women are not high in the social ladder, most of them get married (and they're expected to) at an early age. So it's like they're second class citizens. Plus, if you're a foreigner and you know how to speak Japanese well, people might avoid you and think of you as a "Strange Foreigner". At least that's what I've read.
