Removed for insiting the idea of posting stories on a writing site.

Um, I wasn't aware that this rule existed. But I mean, is it really that big of a deal if you wait one day to post your next story? Besides, you're probably more likely to get more crits if you spread it out a little anyway.

First off, we often delete multiple threads in a day because a lot of people earn their 30 points from half-ass critiques and don't deserve those threads.
Second, three threads a day is just selfish and clogging up the forum. Besides, no one will get critiques that fast anyways. I'm sure ALL of us have the patience of one or two days.

Well the point is that it's taken out of the hands of the poster even though they've earn the right to post three things at once
I think you're looking at the point system the wrong way. It was designed to prevent people who don't crit or do really poor crits from being able to post. Nothing more.

It isn't meant to be a 1:1 counter of earning the right to post things. A critique 1000 letters long earns 10 points. But most of the stuff you submit is much longer than that, right? Maybe even 1000 words.

If it was designed to be the sort of thing you're referring to - then we would have made points much harder to earn. But that's not its purpose, because most new members aren't up to that.

As for the one thing per day - this is a common rule that I've seen on many critique sites. Some even have your work put into a queue, so you have to wait one or even more weeks for your work to start getting critiqued. In the meantime, they have a list of "current" submissions that CAN receive critiques - so nothing gets missed by anyone.

Doesn't look like that rule is going anywhere, Snappy.

And I'm glad.

Three threads in one day?

Gimme a break.

Well, the suggestion sure beats the current culture, where a grand total of, like, 1 piece a day (from all members combined!) is posted in the Literature Forums.

My answer is no :P. Sorry, but if everyone could just post three threads at a time in there it would be pure insanity. We want everyone to get seen and if everyone is posting three threads at once it is much more likely that threads will get bumped off the first page a lot quicker. Just be patient.
