(Ignore the title, I couldn't think of one.)

Well, it was an hour and a half drive to dance class and I was bored, and I thought this might be interesting. So... This is just a fun little thing about where you live. No names or anything, just what it looks like and stuff. And if you don't want to answer certain questions, then don't.

I'm spamming my own thread, but...

As with the others, it's Florida, yes we have tourists: Kentuckians, New Jersians, and the dreaded New Yorkers.

I can't decide if I should be offended or not... :p

Cool.

Country: United States

Area: Suburban

Nearest City: No idea

School Size: 25,000. Yes, it's over nine thousand!

I live NEXT TO a paved road, not on one. :D

Seasons: Four, though winters are very mild, and foot-high snow only comes once every 5 years.

Tourists: Yes. They love the Chesapeake Bay, Old Bay seasoning, and Maryland crabs. Pick up a dozen while you're here. Other states who claim they sell Maryland crabcakes really have no idea what they're talking about. Not a joke.

Sidewalk: Yes. It's filthy.

Most common animal: Deer. Maryland has too many of them, and they have no natural predators here, except pickup trucks.

Nearest college: About ten miles, but it's not the one I attend.

1) What country do you live in?
USA.

2) Do you live in a rural, urban, or suburban area?
I guess suburbanish. I live in a small city, so it's a little of everything.

3) How far away is the nearest city to you? (Size and population, too.)
About 20 or 30 miles, or something like that. San Jose, CA is the nearest city that I can get to, or San Francisco isn't too far from that. San Jose is under a million people.

4) How far away is the nearest major metropolitan area?
San Francisco, about an hour and a half drive, but would be about a 10 minute train ride if they had the stupid train here. To get to San Fran from Santa Cruz you have to go out of your way rather than straight, which sucks.

5) How big is your school?
Big. UC Santa Cruz is a big school.

6) Do you live on a paved or dirt road?
Paved, but I'm moving to a place that is on a dirt road (not much of a dirt road, since the main road is like 30 feet away).

7) How many distinct seasons do you have?
Four.

8) How far away is the nearest beach, and is it a lake or an ocean?
Where I currently am it's about 500 feet, maybe less. Where I will be it'll be a few miles away.

9) Do you have tourists?
Yes and I absolutely hate them all. GO AWAY. Sheesh.

10) Is there a sidewalk in front of your house?
Yes.

11) What is the most common animal you'd see while driving?
Squirrel, since they always want to run across the road when you're driving.

12) How far is the nearest college/university?
Umm, about two miles, and that's a guess on my part.

1) What country do you live in?
Canada, hells freakin' yeah!

2) Do you live in a rural, urban, or suburban area?
Rural area, outside a small town.

3) How far away is the nearest city to you? (Size and population, too.)
About...two hours, that's Edmonton and it's like...750,000, over a million if you count suburbia in the population count.

4) How far away is the nearest major metropolitan area?
Calgary is bigger than Edmonton...but Vancouver is the major one and that's over sixteen hours away or so.

5) How big is your school?
Like, four hundred people tops. My graduating class (class of 2010, bitches!) is like forty-five people.

6) Do you live on a paved or dirt road?
Dirt road. But I think they were going to pave them. I think."

7) How many distinct seasons do you have?
[I]Two. Hockey, and construction. No, in all seriousness, we don't exactly have a spring or fall. Our spring is like a hybrid of summer and winter when snow could fall at any moment, but it's also really hot. Same kind of deal with fall. You pretty much go from freakishly hot summer weather to frost and impending snow.

8) How far away is the nearest beach, and is it a lake or an ocean?
Um...I think a half an hour? It's on a lake. The nearest ocean is like a day away, >.<

9) Do you have tourists?
My town lives off of tourists. We're a town built around oil and coal, and we are halfway between Edmonton and Banff, so people are in here all the time on thier way.

10) Is there a sidewalk in front of your house?
No! >.<

11) What is the most common animal you'd see while driving?
Deer. Everywhere. Moose, occasionally.

12) How far is the nearest college/university?
If you count my town's "college", which is like a correspondence school, then not far. The closest real school is in Edmonton, I think.
