Okay, I've been told that blonde is spelt 'blond'. But in the books I read it's spelt blonde. But Microsoft Word is saying it's spelt blond. Now I'm not sure anymore cause Scotty has said it's spelt blond too... But my friend and I disagree. Please which way is the correct verision is it some type of either/or thing?

Well, my Microsoft Word says both are correct, and gives the same definition for both, too. But I really don't know. This is one of those things I've wondered about.

I think both are technically correct, kind of like colour and color. I think it has to do with countries, because I know different countries spell words differently. But if you aren't consistent then it's an issue

I had to add the word blonde to my Microsoft Word, so that it didn't keep giving it the squiggly underline thing.

Well, in French blonde applies to female, and blond applies to male ...

I think in English you could use blond for male or female, but it looks weird to me.

Hmm... okay, I've always used blonde cause it just looked better than blond in my opinion cause without the 'e' at the end it reminds me of bland for some reason *shrugs*

Simmi, did you just HAVE to use my name? T_T

I posted again on your story talking about it. I'd have to go with Jinx.

... we are?

Damn, I didn't know that. You know what I do? Whenever someone in my story is blond(e), I say they have golden hair. Avoids the whole question about the 'e' altogether.

Therefore, I must describe golden hair as little as possible, because it looks terrible on paper when it's done too oft -- JAIME.
