I cried for a moment during the musical Ragtime, also at the end of the Futurama episode with the dog. Only time a cartoon ever made me cry. :)

I've discovered that the only thing that can really make me cry is when adorable animals die. Since I've only seen that done well in a few movies and books, that's all that applies for me.

Only good movies make me cry...which isn't a lot of movies. But I also rarely watch crappy movies on purpose, so...yeah. Oh, and at some point Imelda will come in here and say something to the effect of: "Oh, you're just a big baby and you cry all the time". So, I thought I'd get a heads up now...

I voted for four of the seven. Looks like I'm kinda an emotional girl.
Story- I cried with the fifth Harry Potter book when Sirius died.
Song- To many to coint!
Movie- I cried so bad when I watched "A Walk to Remember"
Play- The Lion King, I cried with joy and amazement, but I still cried.

Story: Marley and Me made me bawl like an infant for a good twenty minutes, oh, and HP7 too. But that was a mix.

Song: Any of those damn country songs get me. The worst though is when mixed with thier music videos, particularly Concrete Angel by Martina McBride, and the video for When You're Gone by Mrs. Wibley...that stupid old guy gets me everytime.

TV Show: Grey's Anatomy has a tendency to make me cry, like the episode where the two people were stuck on the bar?! Oh my God!! And then the one where they were all in the prom dresses...that was bad. Desperate Housewives made me cry once, the episode where Lynette kills the raccoon and then finds out she doesn't have cancer and breaks down in the backyard...that was hard. Not to mention Joan of Arcadia had me in tears regularly.

Movies: Movies are bad. I remember watching 8 Below and sobbing for the last hour of it...RENT made me cry...Where the Heart Is had me in tears...and Bridge to Terabithia was really bad since I knew what was going to happen but I still cried forever...not as bad as my brother though. He had fallen in love with her over the course of the movie, and cried all night.

I just generally like to cry. I think I checked off most of them... Except for the poem one.

Book: Cried too many times to count in the Harry Potter series.... Especially the last book.

Song: Don't know if this counts but... My dad sang the lead tenor part in Handel's Messiah last year...and it was just too funny... So... yeah...

TV: Grey's Anatomy tends to make me cry to actually, so your not the only one Jinxeh.:)

Movie: Dear lord... I cry in almost any movie. I cried in Wall-E, which is totally pathetic I realize...

Play: I'm pretty sure I cried in Phantom, although I don't really remember.... But I checked it off anyways.
And if not in that one, I cried during my high school's performance of FAME last year.

Phantom
07-22-2008, 08:07 PM
Movie: The Phantom of the Opera for Phantom, Finding Nemo for Nemo, Beauty and the Beast for Beast
Book: Harry Potter and New Moon
Song: I don't know what it was call but it was beautiful
Poem: one my boyfriend wrote for me
Play: The Phantom of the Opera
Tv Show: Avatar because there will be no more.

I've never actually cried at anything. Some things make me feel the sadness of the characters or whatever, but I've never cried. I'm good at keeping bad emotions in check, except anger. I explode usually at the slightest argument.

Hmm... I actually only cried at two movies. Which were Pirates Of The Caribbean:At World's End and Star Wars Episode III Revenge Of The Sith. I'm a big fan of Orlando Bloom and AnakinxPadme. Yeah I'm a nerd :D But I cried the most at Star Wars... tragic love story... so sad :(

I'm pathetic.
Books: Just Listen, Lock and Key, and This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen, HP 4, 5, 6, 7, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn, The Sweet Far Thing, Before I Die, Deadline, Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, Speak, Catalyst, Wicked Lovely, Ink Exchange.... The list goes on and on.
Movies: (So pitiful) Titanic. That's the only one I can think of.
Plays: I cried when I went to see Aida with Mom for my birthday last year.
Song: Lament, from Riverdance. Evidently, bagpipe music really gets to me...
Poem: One I wrote myself. Every time I look at it, I tear up. It's called Pieces of Feeling. (Shameless Advertisement) It's posted on the site, so... if you want to see it...

Movie: Hayoa Miyazaki movies make me cry. I mean Spirited Away? When they fall from the sky and Haku is freed, PLUS Reprise in the background? How do you not at least get teary eyed?

Song: At school a sixth grader sang You Are My Sunshine and it was beautiful. A lot of people cried then.

Musical: In the middle of Wicked when she sings Defying Gravity and rises up. Amazing :).

I've cried while reading a book or two and at a few movies. I cried around the end of Benjamin Button, for example. Songs occasionally make me cry, but only if they relate to something that upset me in life.

I went see Benjamin Button. I wanted to see Marley and Me but everyone else wanted to see that. I fell asleep half way. So I went a second time, to see the ending, and was equally bored.Though, I have to admit, the makeup artists were AWESOME.

I hate crying, so only a few specific movies/songs/stories have made me cry before and this is over my whole life span.

Well actually nothing made me cry as cry, but there are some songs and stories that made me tear up at least.

The only option besides "None" left blank in my case was opera, musical, play. Because I don't really watch play's that much and, if I see a musical, I usually choose to see something positive and funny.

From the ones I didn't left blank I should say that I've cried the most listening to songs. Music is just something amazing and there are songs that can make me cry no matter how much I hear them and it doesn't mean that the song is so sad, not at all. It means that the song is special to me. Reminds me of something.

The next would be books, because I remember only one time when I really cried, reading a poem.

I cry very rarely - if something's powerful enough to induce my tears it must be pretty good. I checked 4 different boxes but most of them were in some way related to Aerosmith - Don't Wanna Miss a Thing because it's quite an emotional song for me - lots of good and bad moments associated with it. The most recent of these moments involved slow dancing drunkenly in my kitchen, and it has been caught on video. :S

I used to never cry. Then, one day, BAM. The waterworks got switched on and I can't seem to find the off switch. I ticked every single box on there, other than the ''none'' one obviously. Maybe I should get out more. It's unbelievable how many books have made me cry, and quite a few TV programmes and films have too. Only one poem has made me cry.

I cried reading the book White Fang by Jack London, usually I don't cry but I was swept into that book, I believe I was 12 when i read it. Bambi made me cry once.

I cry as soon as something sad happens. I cry while watching sad movies a lot. There are a couple of books that made me tear up, mostly because the endings are always twisted.

One word. Titanic.

The ending of the last series of Torchwood also made me cry, and the ending of A Farewell To Arms brought some sniffles.

I can't listen to Coldplay's "The Scientist" or watch a whole bunch of movies without crying so much it feels like I don't have eyes anymore. Mitch Albom has also made me cry (Five People You Meet in Heaven.)

the biggest offender, though, in the category of movies, is "Where the Wild Things Are." I cried the whole bloody movie. No exaggeration, the entire time I was sobbing.

This (http://www.bartleby.com/101/787.html) made me cry, because it was read at my grandma's funeral. I had to explain it to my brother, because he was doing a speech about it, and didn't get it. Not much else does though, because I have a habit of disecting movies rather than watching them.

All of the above!!
I cried while reading 13 Reasons Why.
I cried while watching sad movies, because the hero dies at the end!
