Custom Links and Thanks Comments

Two minor techical additions today, both of which were either directly or indirectly suggested by Carraka. :rolleyes:

Custom Link

You can now add your own link to the navigation bar. It will appear as a 5th option on your User CP drop-down menu. This link can be named whatever you want, and take you to whatever URL you want, even if it's not on this site. It could be a favorite thread, or a page you visit frequently which would otherwise take several steps to reach.

To add it, edit your profile and choose Site Settings (http://www.youngwritersonline.net/profile.php?do=editoptions) in the left column. At the very bottom, you can type in what you want your link to say, and what URL it will take you to. If you leave either box blank, no link will appear.

Thanks Comments

When thanking a person, you can now type in a comment ("Why dost thou give thanks?"). The comment will be visible to the person who gets thanked. Not to be a wet blanket, but if we catch anyone using these comments to harass or get vengeance :ninjablade: on someone else, we will take action to stop it.
