Thanking Question (sigh)

All right. Last post, I swear. Then I'll go to bed.

Recently, I've wanted to thank people, (Ichico, Nyx, Quietus, to name a few,) but when I click the green check marks under their name, I get a window that says:

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to __ again.

I only thank people for good reasons. -shifty eyes- While I understand the necessity of this system to keep people from doing the "you thank all my posts, I thank all of yours," it's starting to get a bit annoying.

For now, all I want to know is: how long do I have to wait before I can thank someone again? Or how many other people do I have to thank first?

Yeah Andy, what's up with that? (I blame him cause I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong with the site :P).

Actually, that might be standard in the system. Andy, maybe we should change it?

Yeah I think if possible you guys should change it. Just for now atleast, until we get more members.

Yes, that's due to the system's default setting. :doh: I set it to zero for now, so you should be able to thank people the same person twice.

But that sort of opens up the opportunity for someone to abuse the system and thank their friends repeatedly, so I think we should set it to at least one once we get more people.
