We've done a slight rewrite of the user rankings system, since it seems people were blazing through them extremely quickly and would have reached the highest rank within a month. :)

0-9: Literary Newbie
10-24: Novice Writer
25-49: Abstract Thinker (changed)
50-99: Idea Scribe
100-249: Scholarly Apprentice
250-499: Literary Artist
500-749: Aspiring Author
750-999: Creative Fanatic
1000-1999: Freelance Writer
2000-2999: Wordsmith
3000-3999: Language Creator
4000-4999: Maker of Worlds
5000 and up: Master of English

Note that Brainstormer is now an offencive word. I don't know why, exactly, but I know it is. Nice names, though. If we do get some Mods, eventually, will they be allowed their own custom names?

Probably not. If we do some sort of custom titles, though, it'll probably be for everyone. I think what Shaun and I decided to do was when someone reaches a certain number of posts, they can get their own title. A feature we have yet to implement... :)

It's offensive now, really? Ugh, that's not the first time I've heard something like that. Any suggestions on a replacement?

Something to do with thoughtful or something similar. Instead of Brainstorm, we now have Thought Shower.

Showers are refreshing. :D

Abstract Dreamer?

Haha. I didn't know Brainstormer was a bad word now...it's..descriptive and says a lot about someone...weird.

As for custom titles. Honestly, I think Andrew is right in that we should make it something everyone can do when they earn it. Yes, Andrew and I are the admins/owners, but we recognize that the site doesn't run simply because we put it up and pay for hosting and what not. It runs because of members. Plus, I really don't care about custom titles for myself. I never understood why it was a jealousy issue at TW. I mean, woot, I can say "I'm happy pants" on my title, but really, we all know my pants aren't happy, their sad cause I'm always sitting on them... :D

Yeah, but we'll figure that all out. Right now we're not even close to considering other mods. There aren't enough members for that.

Actually, it's an insult to people who have some sort of disease or condition. I can't remember which one, though.

I changed it to Abstract Thinker, just to get Brainstorm off. If anyone can think of a better one, we can change it.

And now, I leave for a 2-day trip. Bye!

Have fun on your trip, that is crazy about Brainstormer, I like them all by the way :D

This'll probably have been mentioned or something, but why do we have Moderator columns on the Forums when we don't have Moderators? Sounds confusing, I know...

It's part of the design. Right now we don't have mods, but eventually we will if we start getting a lot of members.

I think there's a way to turn those off, but I'd have to look into it. TW doesn't have them, so there must be a way.
