...I don't think your (our! xD) case is the same. I mean, ending a name with "ei" sounds vaguely...Russian, actually. Maybe I should try it sometime.

That being said, I am still abiding by the theory that the "i before e" rule does not actually exist, because English grammar rules do not actually exist. xD It definitely makes writing and speaking a whole lot simpler.
