Alright, so I don't know if this belongs somewhere else. I'll just put it here for now and if Andy things it should go elsewhere he can movie it :P.
I think one thing we should really focus on over summer is to boost critiques. This is a writing site. Now that my schedule will be clearing up I'll be reading, writing, and critiquing more. So I think we should get everyone together and agree on a challenge for the summer.
Here's how it goes:
--Give one good critique at least once a week starting June 9th and ending on September 1st.
--They have to be actual critiques, not one liners.
If enough people get in on this I may consider offering a prize of some sort...like free books or a gift certificate to Amazon or something.
Who's in?

Well you can just crit poetry. Doesn't seem like a problem to me. But only GOOD crits :P. None of that "I like this poem. It has a good feel. Loverrzezeez" crap. :P

I'm in I suppose. I've got a few crits I owe already, and I just keep putting them off, this might make me do them in a timely manner. :P
I do owe people crits on another site, though, so I can't forget about them. Plus, if I go anywhere, I might not be able to, but I think this is a good idea.

I would definitely like to do this, but the problem is that I disappear every summer to the middle of nowhere (aka the mountains of northern Maryland) for a month for camp. Basically, no computer access (I am so going to die! :[ ). But I'll try it for as long as I can.

Good! More people should join!
I'll do it, but like most people, they are many weeks of summer that I have no access to internet, so it would impossible in those weeks.
