I got portal the day the orange box came out. It's awesome :D My only complaint is that it is a little too short :(. Thankfully VALVe supports the community as much as it does, so there are lots of maps to download and I'm reading some Hammer tutorials and making my own shortly. Portal was just really refreshing to find a puzzle based game that isn't a flash game or an adventure game, and of course, it's really damn funny. Those turrets are so cuuuuuuuuuute I feel bad when I knock them over, even when they say it's okay :(

Who does not love the companion cube!? All who doesn't love the companion cube must die :devil:

I don't have pity or hatred for GLaDoS. I love her, too bad she's just a computer, or else I'd probably go out with her. I love people who are random, insane, and probably psychopathic and lure you with the promise of cake. (Jk.. but even so, I don't pity or hate her :))

I absolutely refused to let the poor companion cube go. D: It never deserved to die! Why? Why?

I love games that immerse you as the protagonist without too much backstory - I grew up playing the Myst series and this was a welcome (but entirely new) kind of game. And then the ending - aauggh. I don't want to spoil anything, seeing as the people who haven't played this game /have to/ before I wound them, but I never thought I could be so amused and terrified at the same time. My heartbeat got really loud - I think I need to get in better shape. xD
