so hi, i guess i'm not that good at writing about myself, but i'm good at writing:) i am Karolina(real name and spelled like that) and i write and draw and take pictures. i think i want to be a writer or an artist, a photographer... i have no dramatic sence of style, like dressing in all black, or pink, and am addicted to music - rooney, all-american rejects, jeff buckley, norah jones, eva casidy, the black keys etc. i read. i like watching movies and i'm more of a hanging-out casually kind of person than the going out type.

So you listen to Norah Jones? I've only heard one of her songs. "Home of the Blues" I just happened to hear it cuz I'm a huge Johnny Cash fan, and someone in my family found the song on youtube or something. Anyway, she did a really good job on it! (Which is saying something - I normally take a very dim view on singers who mess with Johnny Cash songs. I almost killed someone that one time some jerk on American Idol messed with one of his songs and butchered it so badly that I could hardly even tell what it was supposed to be! )

This is a writing forum.....we expect you to use good grammar. It's stupid not to use it wherever you go. All you do is gain a bad habit from not using it. I've seen stories where the grammar was wrong because they didn't use it already.

This forum's pretty strict about proper grammar, yeah, but then again it's a writing forum... some people here actually have a painful time reading internetspeak. I'm pretty jaded to it myself. Er, but I have to object to your use of smileys as punctuation. I remember reading a comedic short story about the period becoming an endangered species, and people having sentences go on and on for pages - they'd find refuge in the semicolon and the more creative ones used smileys. Examples were given:
"Horatio, I am dead:("
