What are you doing this summer?

I'm going to try and get as much writing in as possible, while working at A&W (groan...) and for a week I get to go to the most kickass drama camp in history!

I'm planning on taking a couple art classes, getting a science class out of the way, and getting a summer job (so I can afford to eat). I'm also planning on reading, writing, and hanging out with my friends as much as possible.

I'm hopefully visiting my friends back home, WRITING LOTS. I'm doing some volunteer work at my local youth club for a couple of days in the first two weeks . . . and that's about it . . . :)

I actually have to take college courses this summer so I can graduate next year. (a year early). Plus, I may be volunteering at my library :) and of course reading and being with my friends. ^^

Oh and not sleeping. :/

I've got driving school the first two weeks (despite the fact that I won't get my permit until september xP) and then I have two different camps where I'm being some sort of counselor in training for drama camp or activities (my school won't count one of them for community service hours because it's technically religious xP). For the rest of it, reading obsessively off my gigantic list of books I've wanted to read for a really long te but never gotten to, hopefully still writing a lot, dance classes, maybe guitar or voice lessons I don't have time for during the school year...yeah, this summer's gonna be crazy.

Basic teenager-who-can't-get-paying-job stuff - camp counseling, reading, writing, drooling, candy cigarettes, and - oh crud - my art portfolio. Ick. x.o Only way I'll be able to get into AP in Senior year, that. Stupid school system.

What's camp counceling?

I'm camping for a week in the middle of a racecourse with six thousand other people, dodgy port-a-loos and my brother. IT'LL BE GREAT FUN!

Really it will, I went last year and it was brilliant. :D Can't wait.

My plan is to write and write and write and write and write and write and write and write foratlease two weeks of the summer. :)

Being a counceler with Naddy while spending every free moment scribbling down stories in my notebook (if I can keep it away from those little brats- I mean, sweet adorable little campers...), swimming with Sniper from across the street, writing, working out with Minnie, writing, eating black jack cherry ice cream (btw, Deana, I owe you and your sister six bucks...) while watching every disney movie known to man kind four times a week, writing, working on the cabin up north, writing, four wheeling, writing, getting some riding in (hopefully...), writing, get some designing and sewing done, writing, lining up a job/car for october *crosses fingers*, and being lazy. What else is new?

I got my job at Subway still, gonna work a boatload more so I can afford a new microphone, amp, recording equipment, and make enough to donate to the site.

I am going on a road trip sometime in the summer, probably for two weeks or so. Miss me when it comes?

I will be playing lots of gigs this summer. I just realized I can use Craigslist to find open gigs!

Above all that, I will be hanging out, going on adventures, living life after high school, partying it up with rockstars and writing a whole new short story splurge on the end of the world.
Where bums, nuns, soldiers and manatee's all show you what was going on while the end of the world took place.

Anyways, I'll only be going to Quebec, Montreal, California, and a bunch of local places. So no where far away this year. I'll also be volunteering, yay. And like everyone else...making it through my reading list, in which all the books will probably involve concepts I'll probably fail to understand xD
I'll also just be spending time with friends, and that's about it.

I have really been trying to be a good person and work on my writing, but my stories are starting to bore me... especially my suckish first attempt at a chapter book that I recently posted as 'Blueshift'...*hint, hint*
If I'm bored by my own writing, and thus, my own imagination, other people are going to be bored with it, too. Oh, and I've had band camp (among other things) that I had to do. So, there was a point in time that I didn't get to write much at all for about three weeks.
It was excruciating.

Awesome, you're taking voice lessons? I told a year of them and had a blast. I wish I could take more.

Well, summer is almost over but I have worked on my writing, songs, and tons of other things. This summer has been a great one I must say.
