We are a Fantasy and Science Fiction focused writing community. You can showcase your work or read what other authors have posted in our Story Archive, or chat in our forum and chat room.

The Creative Muse Society is a message board for writers ages 13 and up. The board has lots to offer, such as critiquing, advice on writing, contests, and more. The main feature of this board are the hidden sections, closed off to guests so that those who wish to protect their writing may do so. We have contests, off season NaNoWriMo months, and much more.

Become an Affiliate |
If you have a website and would like to exchange links with Young Writers Online, you can become an affiliate if your site meets the following guidelines:
- Your site is mainly about writers, writing, books or teens.
- If it's a forum, it must have at least 100 members and 1000 posts.
- If it's a blog, it must have at least 50 quality posts.
- Your site is active, with frequent visitors and new content.
If you meet the requirements, you can send a message to us, and we'll answer you as soon as we can. We ask that you include a message of 100 words or less that describes your site. If you want, you can also give us a link to an 88 x 31 button image that we can display left of your description.
We reserve the right to reject affiliate requests that we feel unsuitable.
